Annual Fire Alarm Testing & Schedule

As a commitment to the Brandeis University Community to continue to improve the reliability the Brandeis University’s Fire Alarm Systems, we have scheduled our 2025 annual Fire Alarm Testing.

Shoulder Months - Heating to Cooling Transition Begins April 1st

April begins the shoulder months for heating/cooling. This is the time when temperatures range between 40- and 70-degrees fahrenheit. Cooler mornings followed by warmer afternoons make maintaining temperature comfort in our facilities a challenge.Annual Full Campus Electrical Shutdown June 1st and 2nd

The Department of Facilities Services will perform its annual electrical shutdown on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. In the past, this shutdown was held in August but for weather reasons, we are moving it to June.
